Worship can be described as our response to God.  We respond to all that He is; His revelation to us, His Word (both the Bible and the Word that became flesh, Jesus), and His continued work in us and around us.

We give priority to making our worship gatherings and celebrations a place where God's name is exatled and He is welcome to have His will accomplished as we share together.  We meet with the expectation that God inhabits, or dwells in the praises of his people so we come ready to respond accordingly.

Worship Arts Ministries

Worship Choir
Worship Choir meets on Wednesdays 6:45 - 8:15 p.m. in the sanctuary.  Those who are part of worship choir participate in the Christmas Celebration, leading worship as scheduled in AM Worship Gatherings, and other special events throughout the year.  The pre-requisite to join is a heart of service, the willingness to sing in a group, and consistent church attendance.  No previous choral experience is required.

WorshipTeam
Worship Team consists of vocalists and instrumentalists whose desire is to participate in the life changing ministry of worship.  They understand their calling to lead and set an example for others to respond to God.  Vocalists become part of a vocal worship team by invitation.  Instrumentalists who have an intersted in using their talent can set up an informal interview with Pastor Nathan.

Sound & Media Teams
Our worship gatherings rely heavily on live sound and media equipment.  The teams of persons who share their love for God through serving in this ministry enjoy working with computers and technical equipment.  Everyone on the team has a teachable spirit and is willing to do their part to help paint the overall picture of our worship gatherings.  The pre-requisite to join is a heart of service, the willingness to work together to accomplish greater things, and consistent church attendance.

Celebration Ensemble
Celebration Ensemble is a group of wind instruments that help lead worship as scheduled in AM Worship Gatherings.  Those who are part of the group need to have two full years of experience on their instrument.  Music difficulty varies greatly, so flexibility and a teachable spirit are a must to be part of Celebration Ensemble.

Christmas Celebration
Each Christmas season, EFCOG presents an all-church outreach musical for Christmas.  All choral groups are involved as well as worship dance, drama team, sound & media and many other creative ministries.  This mulit-evening event is a highlight in the church calendar as well as a tremendous gift to the Eaton community.

Drama Team
Dramatic Skteches continue to be a great way to creatively communicate a message.  Drama Teams meet as scheduled with their primary focus being the Christmas Celebration.

Kids Choirs
Kids Choirs meet on Wednesday nights at 6 p.m.  Parents will want to make sure their child arrives early to the All Church Dinner to have plenty of time to eat before choir.
We have 3 choral groups for kids:
- Pre-School Choir
- 1-3 Grade Choir
- 4-6 Grade Bell Choir
The choirs sing periodically in the 10:30 a.m. Worship Gatherings and participate in the Christmas Celebration.
Currently, 1-6 Grade are meeting combined to prepare for "G.P.S." God's Plan of Salvation, which is our spring musical to be presented on April 19 at 6 p.m.  All children grades 1-6 are welcome to be a part.
