Children's Ministry

Join us for Gathered Worship Sundays at 8 or 10:30am

Children are a very important part of our church. We at the Eaton First Church of God spend a lot of time and energy on children because they are the future and the church of today.

UpStreet Kids
UpStreet Kids is the new children’s ministry of the Eaton First Church of God. Train UP a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6 The arrow in the logo points one way, there is one way to know the Father through our Lord Jesus Christ. UpStreet is a journey, a direction that we are following God through our lives. UpStreet is a moving, busy place, much like a city street.

The Edge of UpStreet is the name of our 5th and 6th grade group! They meet and discover things that all preteens need to know about themselves, God, and the church. They also participate in outings and other fun events throughout the year. They are called “the edge” because they are on the edge of the children’s ministry as preteens and will be transitioning into their teenage years. The Edge meets Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm and begins in the sanctuary.

Wednesdays

All Church Dinner
Dinner served 5:30-6:30 p.m. in correlation with Wednesday evening ministry schedule. Dinner is a $2.50 donation with a maximum of $10 per family. The menu consists of family friendly foods and there is a peanut butter sandwich alternate sack lunch available.

UpStreet Wednesdays
UpStreet Wednesdays is for all kids ages 2 through grade 6. It begins at 6:30pm in the sanctuary where kids meet in groups for a time of worship and bible drama. The Edge (5th and 6th grade) are dismissed before the bible drama for their ministry as are the toddlers. Next kids ages 4 through grade 4 enjoy large group and small group activities that apply the bible lesson to their lives. Each month at UpStreet Wednesdays has a special theme. Kids Choirs
Kids Choirs meets at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays. We have a Pre-School Choir, 1-3 Choir and a 4-5-6 Handbell Choir. For more information on these choirs, visit the worship arts ministry page.

Sundays

8 & 10:30a - Children's Church
Children ages 4 through grade 3. Children begin in the sanctuary in gathered worship and then are dismissed for their children's church classes.

8 & 10:30a - Toddler Care & Nursery
A supervised toddler care for 2-3 years olds is avilalbe during gathered worship. A Nursery is also available to parents with their children.

9:30a - Sunday School
The Nursery is located in room O-3 and is for infants up to two years in age.
Toddlers meet in room O-5
Preschool (4 and 5) meets in room 108
Kindergarten meets in room 110
1st & 2nd Grade meets in room 104-106
3rd & 4th Grade meets in room 204
5th & 6th Grade meets in room 200
